Established in 1779, Bowmore is Islay's oldest distillery and sits at the heart of the island's main village. The distillery's No.1 Vaults, the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland, sits below sea level, directly on the shores of Loch Indaal. Bowmore's whiskies balance Islay's characteristic peat with a distinctive floral sweetness.
